Jason Derulo has revealed he has written a song for legendary singer Cher.
The 'It Girl' hitmaker - who has toured with Lady Gaga and penned tunes for stars including P. Diddy, Danity Kane, Donnie Klang, Sean Kingston, Cassie and Lil Wayne - revealed his excitement at collaborating with the music legend.
He told BANG Showbiz: "There were lots of songs left over that didn't make it on to the last album so they'll go to lots of different artists. But I'm working on new material all the time. I just wrote a song for Cher which she will be performing. It's a mid tempo club tune so I'm really excited about it."
Meanwhile, Jason who sang in front of 17,000 fans in front of Belfast's City Hall at a free concert as part of the MTV EMAs on Sunday (06.11.11) revealed performing a sound check in front of 3,000 people earlier in the day was a thrill.
He said: "I knew there were lots of people at the sound check who hadn't been able to get tickets for the show so it was great to give them a taste of what I was going to do. I had most of my performance figured out by then so I knew what I was going to do."

Cher helped save the life of her friend after she suffered a "terrible seizure" at the star's home.
Doriana Sanchez - who has been close to the 'Turn Back Time' hitmaker for the past 26 years - was experiencing back pain for a number of months before Cher sent her on a private jet to Los Angeles to visit a spine specialist.
She said: "As the months went by, it got worse. Cher told me she wanted me to see her spine specialist."
However, after suffering from a seizure while staying at Cher's Los Angeles home, UCLA neurosurgeon Dr. Neil Martin discovered a large brain tumour that needed to be removed immediately.
With Cher staying by her friend's side throughout the entire ordeal, Doriana admits she "wouldn't be here" without the help the star offered.
Doriana added in an interview with America's Star magazine: "Before surgery, we did our secret prayer that we do before Cher's shows. And she added sparkles to the hospital room, bedazzling it to give it the Cher touch!
"Cher was by my side the whole time. I wouldn't be here without her."
