(Sub) "Female Force: Cher" is the new biography comic book is due out in December 2011 and it shares how the woman born Cherilyn Sarkisian came to be known by one name - Cher!
"We have been creating the biographies of the famous in a sequential art form for almost two years and it was only a matter of time before we got to this icon," said Darren G. Davis, publisher of Bluewater Comics. "Her life has been marked failures and successes, but she still stands boldly for herself and for her friends and we had to tell her story."
"Female Force: Cher" turns back time and tells how this platinum selling singer became an award winning actress and a performer for the ages.
Writer Marc Shapiro said Cher's life and career "reads like a comic book." "The clothes, the times, the attitudes of the decades she's lived through. The different styles of music she's been involved in. So much of what Cher has experienced is so flamboyant, over the top and just plain out there," said Shapiro. "She has been very much the real life equivalent of a superhero, and writing about Cher, to a large degree, has been just about letting my imagination go."
The 32-page comic features the art by Zach Bassett and the inks of Warren Montgomery as well as a cover by provided by DC Comics Joe Philips.

Cher was so proud of her son Chaz Bono on "Dancing with the Stars" that she broke into tears. The "Burlesque" songstress was overwhelmed with emotion when watching his performance from the audience seat during the October 10 episode of the dancing competition.
In an all-capital letter tweet, Cher wrote, "Omg! I was crying ! Wasnt expecting 2 b so nervous ! Broke my bracelet clapping ! I'm so proud !! Chaz was great! Loved David Arquette 2nd." Earlier in the day, she posted, "On way to DWTS ! I'm very TRIBAL ! Pauli will take pic ! If it's good I'll send Wish chaz luck !!! I'm here !"
Cher's indeed seen standing up among the crowd cheering and applauding Chaz. Another member of the family spotted coming to support him was his stepmother Mary Bono. "It was great to have everyone here. It pumped me up. I know my mom was really proud of me and that was awesome. I'm glad that whatever we're doing is touching people," he gushed.

However, Chaz kept his full focus on his performance once he was on stage. "When we're dancing I try to just focus on [Lacey] and what we're doing," he said. "It was a great night. Last week was a hard week and everyone knew I was kind of feeling bad about it, so to come back this week and have my whole family there it was amazing."
That Monday night, Chaz danced paso doble to the theme of "Rocky". He received praises from judges Len Goodman and Bruno Toli. The former said, "Like Rocky, you're 'getting stronger!' It wasn't exactly a knockout performance, but it was your best to date," while the latter added, "Chaz, in the true spirit of Rocky, no matter how many knock you take, you keep coming back."
He extended his gratitude by posting a short message on Twitter, and gave a shout-out to his dance partner Lacey Schwimmer. "Thanks to everyone for the support. I had an awesome time dancing the Rocky theme with @LaceySchwimmer and my whole family in the audience!" he wrote.

Mama Cher will be in the audience, when her son, Chaz Bono, performs on next week’s Dancing with the Stars.

“God hope Chaz hangs on till next week so I can come sit in the Audience & Watch,” tweeted the singing icon on Monday, October 3.
The Dancing with the Stars audience granted Cher’s wish by voting for Chaz and keeping him safe for another week. Instead, The Hills star, Kristin Cavallari, was sent home.
The only one more grateful than Cher, perhaps, was Chaz, who took to twitter to thank everyone who kept him safe, immediately after the results show.

“I wish I could thank each & every one of you personally for your votes,” he tweeted. “YOU are the reason @LaceySchwimmer & I ARE DANCING AGAIN next week!!”
Chaz also added, “I’ll be trying my best again all week.”
On Wednesday, Cher confirmed that she still planned on being on hand to watch.
“Yeah CHAZ. Looks like I’ll b in the Audience next Week,” Cher tweeted.

As for what song Chaz and his partner Lacey Schwimmer will be performing to, Schwimmer revealed that it was Movie Score week.
“Any ideas what @ChazBono and I might have? It’s very fitting!” tweeted Schwimmer.
Viewers will have to tune in to see. Dancing with the Stars airs Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
