In a rare addition to the ABC competition's panel, the singer will stop by the Nov. 4 episode -- when she also plans to perform two songs.
Dancing With the Stars teased a big announcement at the top of Monday's two-hour episode. And fulfilling that promise, hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke revealed that the Nov. 4 episode will feature a rare addition to the judges' table.
Cher is set to appear alongside Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, pinch-hitting for Len Goodman, who is double-booked this season on the U.K. iteration, Strictly Come Dancing. The singer joins former pro dancer Julianne Hough on this season's roster of guest judges.
As part of an ongoing promotional campaign for her album Closer to the Truth, Cher will perform her second single "I Hope You Find It" -- as well as her hit "Believe." She's been no stranger to reality shows of late, also appearing on neighboring network flagships The X Factor and The Voice.
Cher is no stranger to Dancing With the Stars. She made several appearances in the crowd during the 13th season, when her son Chaz Bono competed.

SHE’S outspoken about her love of plastic surgery – and it’s paying off for 67-year-old Cher as she proved during an appearance on the Graham Norton show.

The star has thrown herself back into working after splitting from former Hell's Angel, Tim Medvetz, after a five year on/off relationship.
Speaking about the split to Attitude magazine, she star said: ''The one who does the breaking doesn't do the grieving.''

However she admitted that the one man she was truly in love with was Robert Camilletti, who she dated during the 1980s.
The star believed that the press tainted their relationship, saying: ''There was drama in the end but it had nothing to do with him and me. It was just that the paparazzi ruined our lives completely.
''There were two of them that were following us and we got a restraining order against them.''

LOS ANGELES and BRASILIA (ILO News) – Hollywood legend, Cher, has teamed up with the UN’s International Labour Organization (ILO) to call for an end to child labour. The actor and singer is supporting the “Red Card to Child Labour!” campaign, announced by ILO Director-General, Guy Ryder, at the closing of the third Global Conference on Child Labour in Brasilia.
There are 168 million child workers around the world and more than half of them are trapped in the worst forms of child labour. They work in fields, mines and factories and many are sexually abused, exploited in the drug trade or forced to join armies and militias.
“The ILO is working to free millions of these children and they can use our help,” says Cher in a video message.
The ILO launched the first Red Card campaign in 2002 to raise public awareness of child labour. Eight years later, the second Global Conference on Child Labour that took place in The Hague committed to eliminating the worst forms of child labour by 2016. The 152 countries that participated in the third conference that just ended in Brasilia have renewed their commitment to reach that target.
“The Red Card is a powerful image that is easily recognizable across the world as a warning that something is wrong and must stop,” said ILO chief Guy Ryder.
“As we redouble our efforts to eradicate child labour, the support of Cher, as well as other famous artists and athletes, is a vital way of mobilizing our global society so that together we can rid the world of child labour.”
Besides Cher, actors Susan Sarandon, Tim Roth, Wagner Moura, Jon Tenney, Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis and Rob Morrow are supporting the campaign. Athletes from the US to the Philippines have also joined. The 2014 Football World Cup and the 2016 Rio Olympics will serve as major mobilization events for the campaign.

She's been a fixture of the music industry for over 48 years.
And Cher showed no signs of slowing down as she performed on French television show Vivement Dimanche in Paris, on Wednesday.
The 67-year-old displayed her remarkably youthful figure in a thigh skimming leather mini skirt and a pair of daring fishnet stockings.
The Believe singer's complexion showed almost no signs of ageing as she smiled through her performance.
While the contralto serenaded her French fans she wore a jacket featuring a faux fur collar and a tight fitting blouse.
Sporting a studded belt the veteran diva donned motorcycle boots bringing an edge to the star, who is nearing the end of her seventh decade.
Framing her face were a dark set of locks as she adorned her ears with hoop earrings.
Wearing a coating of make-up that gave a nice blush to her cheeks the Strong Enough singer painted her eyes a smoky hue.
While on the French television show, Cher chatted light-heartedly with presenter Michel Drucker, who was clearly pleased to talk with the legendary symbol of female empowerment.
Meanwhile, she recently admitted she was 'ashamed' of herself for criticising Miley Cyrus, though she didn't take back what she said.
The hitmaker, who blasted the 20-year-old popstar for her recent provocative performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, regrets opening her mouth about the We Can't Stop singer and claims she actually thinks Miley is 'brilliant.'
In a lengthy rant on her Twitter page on Wednesday, Cher wrote: 'Re: Miley S . . . I Think What I Think, but Having Said That . . . I'm a little ashamed (which is Total b******t, how can u B a LITTLE ASHAMED) that I didn't keep my big Opinionated mouth Shut.'
The pop legend previously said she was less than impressed with Miley's twerking routine at the awards ceremony in New York last month, where she danced with Robin Thicke wearing nothing but flesh-toned latex underwear.
She said: 'It was so bad. I'm not old-fashioned. She could have come out naked, and if she'd just rocked the house, I would have said, "You go, girl." It just wasn't done well.
'She can't dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn't great, one cheek was hanging out. And, chick, don't stick out your tongue if it's coated.'
She did, however, praise Miley for trying something new, adding: 'Maybe she's thrilled and delighted - everyone's talking about it, and so, that's almost as good as it being great, you know.
'Especially kind of in this day and age. It doesn't make any difference if you're good. It just makes a difference if people are talking about it.'
The 80s pop legend also revealed that she was not interested in twerking anytime soon, despite still sporting an incredible figure for her 67 years.
Cher, who is just about to release a new single, Woman's World, from her new album, Closer To The Truth, was not the only person to reveal their feelings on the Wrecking Ball singer.

Cher joined Team Blake for The Voice's fifth season, and the two singers spoke first to ET's Rob Marciano about their chemistry.
In between fits of laughter, Cher and Blake Shelton told Rob that they've been on the same accord with most of the contestants that they've seen and became friends rather quickly. In fact, they've been getting along so well that Blake felt she could become a regular on the judges' panel.
"I have no doubt you'd be good at it," said Blake.
When Blake was growing up, his dad was a huge Cher fan. Blake's father has since passed, but not before witnessing his son get introduced by one of his idols at the ACM Awards.
"I'm trying to host the show and my phone's back there buzzing like, 'I'll be damned ... You've made it now. Cher said your name,'" said Blake who called those text messages the most excitement he'd ever seen from his father.
While Blake shared the same stage with Cher, could a duet between them be in the works?
"I can do that!" said Cher. "You just heard what a great country singer I am."
Closer to the Truth, Cher's 26th solo album and her first major music project in 12 years, features two country numbers.
"If [those two songs] are any indication, it's going to be a phenomenal album," said Blake.
Closer to the Truth is available now. The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday nights at 8/7c on NBC.

"Believe" it: Cher has earned her highest-charting solo album ever on the Billboard 200.
The diva's new studio album, "Closer to the Truth," also logs her highest debut ever (solo or otherwise) with its arrival at No. 3. It sold 63,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The Warner Bros. Records effort is her first album since 2002's "Living Proof."
Until this week, Cher had never gone higher than No. 4 with her solo albums -- reaching that peak with both "Believe" in 1999 and "The Very Best of Cher" in 2003. As half of Sonny & Cher, she only went higher once -- with 1965's No. 2-peaking "Look at Us." The album -- which contained the No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 single "I Got You Babe" -- was stuck in the runner-up slot for eight weeks behind the Beatles' "Help!"
During the new album's release week, Cher played NBC's "Today" show (Sept. 23) and "The Late Show With David Letterman" (Sept. 24). On the latter program, she was the only guest for the evening and also performed the album's second single, "I Hope You Find It."
"Closer to the Truth" was led by the single "Woman's World," which became Cher's eighth No. 1 on the Dance Club/Play Songs chart in August.

Think Miley Cyrus can’t stop? Try putting a damper on the indomitable spirit of Cher, in her sixth decade of releasing great pop music. Her latest single, “I Hope You Find It,” is taken from her recent LP Closer To The Truth, and the fact that it’s a cover of a Miley song from 2010 doesn’t mean a damn thing when she’s turning out vocals this impressive and still looking that good for a woman of nearly 70. Take that, haters.

There’s also a lovely clip of Cher getting cozy with superfan Kelly Ripa backstage, where they talk about needlepointing, because obviously.

With the arrival of Cher's first album in more than a decade, "Closer to the Truth," Billboard sat down with the diva to talk about the new release -- plus ask her fan-submitted questions.
The first part of our interview at her home in Malibu, California -- where the diva discussed the album -- premiered last week. Part two of our chat focuses on questions sent in to Billboard by her fans on Facebook and Twitter.
Among the topics discussed: Madonna, planning her upcoming Dressed to Kill concert tour, if "Closer to the Truth" is her final album, and more.
With regards to Madonna, she was once named as a possible director of a music video for Cher back in 1999, for the song "Dove L'amour." While the two never collaborated, Cher says that'd she like to work with Madonna, saying, "Yes, because Madge has got some great ideas."
One fan cut right to the chase and asked: "Is 'Closer to the Truth' your final album?"
"How would I know that? Why did I wait 11 years (between albums)? You just don't know."
Cher's upcoming tour, which starts in Phoenix on March 22, 2014, follows her very successful Farewell Tour, which circled the globe from 2002 through 2005.
One fan asked, "How do you name a tour after having a Farewell Tour?"
"It never occurred to me that I would be doing it," Cher says. "Who thinks they're going to tour after they think they're done?"
Cher says that determining the set list for the new tour is proving to be difficult, because she knows her audience wants to hear a lot of different songs of hers.
"Planning this particular act, I'm going to try to navigate in-and-out of (my catalog). Because there are people who really want to hear 'You Haven't Seen the Last of Me' and so, something's gotta go. Or people who want to hear 'Woman's World,' I can't not do that. But you know, (the show) can't be four hours long."
Speaking of the tour, one fan asked if Cher was going to bring her 86-year old mother, Georgia Holt, on tour with her. (Holt released her first album earlier this year and was the subject of the recent documentary "Dear Mom, Love Cher.")
Cher let out a big laugh, saying, "No, mom doesn't travel well. She likes it here. She's a Malibu girl. It would be fun, but no, she wouldn't do it."
